Pneumatic conveying tank is the most commonly used positive pressure conveying equipment with high cost performance ratio in pneumatic conveying systems. It is usually used in long-distance batch feeding systems. It is suitable for conveying various fragile, abrasive and non abrasive materials under the conditions of high pressure, long distance and high solid gas ratio. Such as quartz sand, plastic particles, etc. The whole conveying system is composed of pressure vessel (pressure tank), electric control system and conveying pipeline.
working principle
During the feeding process, materials are added into the sending tank through double butterfly valves or expansion butterfly valves, and the displaced air is released through the exhaust valve, which makes feeding easier and eliminates the reverse pressure that hinders the flow of materials. When the sending tank is full (90% of the tank volume is displayed by the level gauge), the feed valve and exhaust valve are closed and sealed at the same time, and then compressed air is added to the top of the sending tank through the air inlet valve. The added compressed air is mixed with the material. When the pressure in the tank reaches the set value, the bottom discharge valve is automatically opened. At this time, pressure is applied to the entire transmission pipeline, and then the material is transported in the form of a plunger, Until the material is drained. When the pressure in the sending tank drops to zero, the pneumatic supply is closed, and a small amount of remaining gas is also discharged from the sending tank and the transmission pipeline.
